We as an organisation are purpose driven. We do not work for financial gain or to maximise our funding. Instead, our Central Team and Multifaith Champions volunteer with us because they believe that working towards the goal of creating a world without racial and religious prejudice is
worth giving up their time and effort.
We inspire a purpose driven culture throughout the organisation. Our motivation is to benefit society. NMYC is filled
with young leaders that share the same vision and values.
EMPATHY AND HONESTY
Our Central Team is made up of volunteers that are either students or young professionals. Every single member practices supporting one another to balance NMYC responsibilities with life’s pressures. A culture of everyday honesty has been engrained within the organisation to encourage our team to speak out when the pressure is too much, with the knowledge that they are surrounded by friends and colleagues to support them.
At NMYC, we prioritise empathy over output, caring for the wellbeing of our volunteers above all else. Our values of empathy and honesty lay the foundations for every decision made by the NMYC team.
