OUR MISSION
By listening to our network of NMYC Interfaith Officers and champions, we make sure our mission aligns with the needs of youth from
all faiths and beliefs.
The organisation was founded to support students develop multifaith relations on campus. We encourage relationship building through social action,
education and professional development.
More and more youth unemployment becomes an issue. We host workshops, careers fairs and networking events to support students with their employability. At our events, youth from all faith and beliefs come together to share ideas and celebrate religious diversity.
OUR VISION
A future where the youth of all faith and beliefs across the UK work together to make sustainable change.
We can all thrive in this world. We can all stand on each other’s shoulders and empower one another. We can celebrate the world and its people. University students and societies across the UK have already taken a huge step by joining the network and committing to multifaith values.
AN INCLUSIVE AND DIVERSE NATIONAL MULTIFAITH YOUTH CENTRE
We are the first UK-wide multifaith youth centre, designed to bring together university students across all faiths and beliefs. Along with our partner organisations, we are working to create a network of faith and belief based university society representatives and multifaith champions. We are reaching across the UK to develop the skills and expertise of the youth to go on and make sustainable change.
We are a network of like-minded people celebrating diversity. With the support of our NMYC Interfaith Officers and champions, we produce resources, organise networking events and build long-lasting multifaith relationships. Our annual, Multifaith Youth Festival, ‘Faith. Justice. Social.’, brings together students and experts to discuss contemporary issues and their relation to faith.
