IMAGINE A WORLD WITHOUT INTERFAITH.
It would be a world of division and difference, a world that focuses on "othering" one another. In contrast, the practice of interfaith seeks to bridge communities through interaction and connection.
In this context, we focus on developing relationships between faith and non-faith communities to foster a culture of acceptance and understanding.
BRIDGING COMMUNITIES
At NMYC, we do this through education, promotion of faith and cultural literacy and uniting communities around issues of social injustice. These are issues that impact all communities, no matter their faith. These are the issues that require us to unite together in order to create the most sustainable and inclusive solutions, such as climate change, mental health and domestic abuse.
